Prior to joining the SUMO Capital Management Co.,LTD as the president, Mr. Choy served as the deputy CEO of China Science & Merchants Investment Management Group (CSC), a preeminent private investment firm in China with US $10 Billion (RMB ¥ 60 Billion) of capital under management. Before that, Mr. Choy held the position of VP at Unicor Management Company. Mr. Choy has accumulated a broad range of experience in the management and financial sectors. Of note, he led the acquisition of China Pipe Group Limited, IPO of Jinhui Group and in his career to date, he has held various positions at Booz & Company, Abu Dhabi Group Georgia and Bank of Georgia. Mr. Bachiashvili holds a BBA degree in Finance from Caucasus University, and an MBA degree from INSEAD.

Mr. Chou completed a Master of Engineering at Peking University and holds an MBA degree from CEIBS. Prior to joining the SUMO Capital Management Co.,LTD as the managing partner, Mr. Chou held the position of senior executive of China mobiles Communication Corporation and gained considerable experience in communication engineering and mobiles internet. His VC investments could be traced back to 15 years ago and Mr. Chou specializes in angel investments and VCs of internet and TMT products. Successful investments include NQ mobiles and Tong Tech.
